1. Who we are

This website, www.remcam.co.uk, is operated by REMCAM Automotive Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16760599, with its registered office at 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU, United Kingdom. You can contact us at sales@remcamautomotive.co.uk or on 07470 909491.

These terms apply to your use of the website and to enquiries made through it. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Trade customers only

REMCAM supplies parts and services to businesses in the motor trade — garages, bodyshops, restoration specialists and other automotive professionals. We do not supply consumers. By submitting an enquiry you confirm that you are acting in the course of a business. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell to consumers, and consumer protection legislation applying to business-to-consumer sales does not apply to our supply.

3. Enquiries, quotations and orders

  • The website does not sell anything directly. There is no online catalogue, basket, checkout or account.
  • Submitting a part request, repair-information request or other enquiry is a request for us to search for and quote on the item or service described. It is not an order and does not commit either party.
  • Where we can supply, we will send you a quotation setting out the item or service, its category (for example genuine, OEM/OES or otherwise), the price, and the expected lead time from the specific source. Quotations are valid for the period stated on them, and availability is subject to the supplier’s stock at the time of ordering.
  • A contract for supply is formed only when you accept a quotation and we confirm the order. The terms of supply — price, payment, delivery, returns and any warranty — are those stated in the quotation and order confirmation, which take precedence over these website terms.
  • We may decline any enquiry or order at our discretion, including where we cannot verify that you are a trade customer.

4. Vehicle information and identification

We identify parts and repair information from the vehicle details you provide (registration, VIN, make, model, year, photographs and any part numbers or estimates). You are responsible for the accuracy of those details. Where a part has several variants, we will confirm the part number with you before ordering; please check it against the vehicle. We are not responsible for a part that does not fit because the details supplied were inaccurate.

5. Independence and manufacturer names

REMCAM Automotive Ltd is an independent parts-sourcing specialist. We are not affiliated with, approved by or an authorised agent of any vehicle manufacturer. Manufacturer and model names on this site are used only to identify the vehicles we source parts and information for, and remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Repair information

Manufacturer repair information supplied by us is provided for use by qualified technicians at your business. It is your responsibility to ensure that repairs are carried out by competent people, with appropriate equipment, and in accordance with the manufacturer’s method and applicable law. We do not carry out or certify repairs.

7. Use of the website

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • submit false, misleading or automated enquiries, or use the forms to send unsolicited material;
  • upload files containing malicious code, or personal data you are not entitled to share;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system;
  • copy, scrape or republish the content of this site other than for your own business use in dealing with us.

8. Content and accuracy

We take care to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, including our guides, but it is provided for general information only and is not advice for any specific vehicle or repair. Availability, lead times and prices are confirmed only in a quotation. We may change the content of the site at any time.

9. Intellectual property

The text, design, logo and images on this site are owned by or licensed to REMCAM Automotive Ltd and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may view and print pages for your own business use in dealing with us. Any other use requires our written permission.

10. Links to other websites

Links to third-party websites (for example GOV.UK) are provided for convenience. We have no control over their content and accept no responsibility for it.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or its content, including loss of profit, business or data, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise. Liability in respect of parts or services supplied is governed by the terms of the relevant quotation and order confirmation.
